Strengthening our global partnership network
Built on an MOU with MAXY Academy in Indonesia and a partner network across some 39 countries
ELANCER Japan Inc. (head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Lloyd Park), which operates the global IT talent matching platform ELANCER, is expanding its partnerships with educational institutions, companies and engineer networks overseas, building out the capacity to source and deploy IT professionals from several countries at once. This release sets out where that work stands today.
Background
As DX programmes advance and AI adoption accelerates, demand for IT engineers and consultants with deep specialist expertise keeps rising — while the assumption that a company can assemble the people it needs from its domestic market alone is becoming hard to sustain. This is especially true for professionals who can lead requirements definition and upstream work.
Against this backdrop, we have been building out our overseas network so that sourcing from several countries is available as a genuine option, rather than domestic placement alone.
Partnership with MAXY Academy, Indonesia
In April 2026 the ELANCER group signed an MOU with MAXY Academy, an IT education provider in Indonesia. The signing took place in Indonesia alongside the grand opening of MAXY AI HUB, where group CEO Lloyd Park spoke.
The partnership establishes a framework connecting global IT education with cross-border talent support. Building on it, we aim to connect Indonesian IT talent with the Japanese and Korean markets, and to keep widening the range of our international sourcing.
A partner network across some 39 countries
Through its coworking space business, the group operates a partnership network with coworking spaces and local partners in approximately 39 countries.
This network underpins local talent sourcing, workplace provision, and introductions to partner companies. We will continue to expand cooperation with IT companies, educational institutions and engineer networks in each country, step by step.
Engineers who can work in English
Among engineers registered with ELANCER, approximately 522 have been identified as capable of conducting business communication in English.
Their main technical skills are Java (24%), MySQL (23%), Oracle (19%), JavaScript (16%) and C# (11%) — a profile weighted towards enterprise systems and web service development. The pool also includes engineers experienced in Spring / Spring Boot, React.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Android, C++ and Python.
Running teams across borders
On a project related to a major Japanese automotive manufacturer, the group sourced and deployed approximately 20 IT freelancers from each of the Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia — around 60 professionals in total.
That project built practical experience in identifying overseas IT talent, placing them on projects in Japan, and managing a workforce spread across borders. We are now using that experience to expand our network of local companies and partners, centred on Japan, for talent matching and development collaboration.
Looking ahead
We handle a wide range of projects supporting digital transformation — DX, AI and generative AI, cloud, ERP and CRM — centred on engagements in the 600,000 to 2,000,000 yen per month range.
Drawing on our experience of international workforce operations and our local partner networks, we will continue to expand global engineer recruitment, project-based talent supply and cross-border development collaboration. We will further strengthen our partnerships in Japan and overseas, and pursue sustainable growth as a global matching platform connecting IT talent and companies worldwide.
