ELANCER launches a sponsored article series on @IT, the SoftBank Group engineering media

ELANCER Japan Inc. (head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Lloyd Park), which operates the global IT talent matching platform ELANCER, has begun publishing sponsored articles about its service on @IT, one of Japan’s largest specialist IT media sites, operated by ITmedia Inc. (head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Noriyuki Kobayashi; listed on the Prime Market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange). Publication started on 1 October 2026.
Background
As DX programmes advance and AI adoption accelerates, demand for IT engineers and consultants with deep specialist expertise keeps rising. With the talent shortage deepening, an operating model that assumes a company can keep winning the hiring race is becoming hard to sustain.
At the same time, while AI increasingly handles routine coding and testing, people matter more than ever in requirements definition, upstream work, system design and quality assurance. Securing talent who can own that upstream work is now a shared challenge, whatever the size of the company.
